Privacy Policy
This page explains what The Aaron J Show collects through this website, what we do with it, and how to ask us to delete it. If you have questions, email aaronjshow@gmail.com.
What the form collects
When you submit your story, we collect what you type or select in the form:
- Your first name, and the name you'd like used on the show (if you give one)
- Your email address and phone number
- Whether you're 18 or older, and the state you live in
- Your topic, your story, and anything else you choose to tell us
- Your contact preferences and your answers about recording, sharing, and staying anonymous
- Your acknowledgments of the checkboxes on the form
We also record the time you submitted, the page you submitted from, and, if you arrived from an ad or link, the campaign tags in that link (such as utm_source or fbclid). These tell us which ads or posts brought you here.
Where it's stored
Form submissions are stored in a Google Sheet in the show's Google account, and a short notification (your first name and topic) is emailed to the show's Gmail inbox. Google provides these services. You can read Google's Privacy Policy.
How we use it
We use what you submit only to contact you about the show.
We don't sell it
We do not sell your submission or your contact information.
How to ask us to delete it
Email aaronjshow@gmail.com and ask us to delete your submission. Include the name, email, or phone number you used so we can find it.
Published episodes are public
If you take part in the show and a conversation is published, that episode is public. It may appear on the podcast, YouTube, and social media, where anyone can see or hear it. Nothing is published without your permission, and you'll sign a separate participation agreement before anything is recorded.
Site analytics and advertising
We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits to this site. It doesn't use cookies. If we run ads on Facebook or Instagram, we may use the Meta Pixel. It tells Meta that someone visited the site, tapped the call button, or submitted the form. We do not send Meta or any analytics service anything you type into the form.
Adults only
The show only talks with adults 18 and older. The form is not meant for anyone under 18.
